| Under
heavy traffic conditions, we improved over 1.5
million square feet of roadway, including 40,000
linear feet of curb and gutter, as well as numerous
bus bays and sidewalks. Our crews also constructed
an extensive storm drain, sewer and water system
that required dewatering due to the high water
table. We installed wide-diameter storm drain
pipe in addition to a 24-inch steel water line.
Our bridge division constructed a bridge to connect
the nearby industrial development to the community’s
new retail center. We also installed the industrial
development’s dry utility package, placing
the phone and electrical systems underground
and completing electrical-system improvements
at seven intersections. |
