| The
City of Vista, located in Northern San Diego
County, turned to Griffith Company for assistance
in redeveloping a self-contained creek area,
and transforming it into an attractive riverwalk
atmosphere. In a contract totaling $18 million,
Griffith Company built two bridges, extensive
retaining walls and box culverts for a newly
landscaped and lighted pedestrian walkway following
the creek. The redeveloped riverwalk is anticipated
to draw restaurants, shops and visitors that
will revitalize the downtown area. |
