| Fairmont is a job with
the City of Glendale and is also needed to improve
traffic circulation around the 134 / I-5 corridor.
The two projects are separated by about 5 miles. This
project started in January of 2008 and is scheduled
to complete in mid 2010. This job was bid at 23 million
and includes a 9 bent structure that will add unobstructed
access, from a business area that includes many movie
studios, onto the 134 freeway. Many of the same people
for Griffith that are working on the Burbank job will
be also handling the same duties on this job as well.
The structure being built by District 7 will span an
existing flood control channel, SCRRA rail line and
a major arterial street. |
